Christmas is a time of giving, sharing, and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. 

"The Real Meaning of Christmas" is an inspirational theatrical comedy stage play. The play takes place inside of the Weaver family home, where you will find Latifah Weaver, a single mother; and her struggles to raise two children. Her goal has always been to give her children the Christmas that she, as a child, never had. 

Her son, has high expectations of what he wants for Christmas and his meaning of Christmas, being that he has his eyes set on a young lady, that he wants to impress during this holiday season 

Latifah's daughter, is so consumed with her own beauty, that she overlooked the needs of all those around her.

Papa Tre, Latifah's 60 year-old father, has characteristics of Scrooge, he hates Christmas, and hates the thought of his granddaughter, Bre', who is set to come visit for Christmas. 

Bre' is accustomed to the "lifestyle of the rich and famous" but finds it difficult adjusting to Christmas in an unfamiliar environment.
